Marriage, Motherhood, and the Myth of a Wasted Season

Finding Momentum

Marriage, Motherhood, and the Myth of a “Wasted Season"

There is a quiet fear many women carry after marriage and children.

It feels like life slows down.
Dreams pause.
The world gets smaller.

I recently asked a woman I deeply respect a question:
Does marriage and motherhood slow every woman down?

Her answer surprised me.

She said yes, responsibilities do multiply overnight. But she no longer sees this as a setback. She sees it as a redirection toward a higher calling.

When we choose to have children, we step into a divine assignment.

Malachi 2:15 asks, “And what does the one God seek? Godly offspring.”
Raising godly seed is not a small task. It is the intentional cultivation of the next generation of the Kingdom.

This does not mean your personal dreams disappear.

5 DAYS CARE FOR THE WOMAN CHALLENGE

Even when you are not pursuing something publicly, you can still:

  • search out God’s mind

  • bathe future plans in prayer

  • build skills quietly

  • prepare internally

This is not a wasted season.
It is a waiting season.

A season where God is shaping both your children and you.

You may not be launching something now.
But you are becoming someone.

And that matters more than we admit.

So if life feels slower right now, don’t assume you’ve missed your moment.
It may be that God is refining you for the moment ahead.

An Invitation

If this season has left you feeling tired, scattered, or unsure how to reconnect with yourself and God, we created something for you.
