A She Builds Legacy gathering

Sunday Series

Every Sunday, I share a short teaching in our free Facebook group — one idea, one Scripture, one question — for the woman building beyond expectation, with her faith at the centre.

The theme changes each season. The rhythm never does.

New here? Start with this.

Before you join, watch a few minutes of what these teachings are like — honest, unscripted, and rooted in Scripture. This one is on the thing that kept me small for years: fear.

If it speaks to you, the community is where the rest of it lives.

How it works

Simple, and the same every week

No sign-up, no course, no pressure to be on camera. Just show up, watch, and answer honestly in the comments.

i.

Watch on Sunday

A short video lands in the group each Sunday evening. Face to camera, one clear idea, always tied to Scripture.

ii.

Answer the question

Every video ends with one question. Drop your honest answer in the comments — that's where the real conversation happens.

iii.

Carry it into your week

One small, faithful step. The series is a rhythm, not a binge — a little truth each week that builds over a season.

Lessons from Tennis

Hard Court

For the woman raised to hold back — eight lessons the game has taught me about building the thing God put in you. You do not need to know a thing about tennis. You only need to be building something, or wanting to.

I have loved tennis for years. And somewhere along the way — watching my favourite players and their rivals, their skill and their discipline, the highs and the terrible lows, the way a whole career moves through cycles of winning and losing — I began to see more than a game. I began to see life.

When I looked at all of it through the eyes of Scripture, that is where these lessons were born. Tennis was simply the first. Taking what I have loved and watched and lived, and building something to share it with you — that is how the whole Sunday Series began.

Session 1Identity

Signal & Noise

The best players in the world lose, and it is almost never talent. It is letting the noise become the signal. Keep your signal — and how you step onto the court.

“…fixing our eyes on Jesus.” — Hebrews 12:1–2

Session 2Foundation

Unforced Errors

The points you lose by your own hand — from a pattern in your foundation, inherited and running on autopilot. But you were already delivered out of it. No condemnation. Reset. Next point.

“…the futile ways inherited from your forefathers.” — 1 Peter 1:18

Session 3Freedom

The Underdog’s Freedom

The favourite tightens under a weight that was never hers to carry. The underdog swings free — because the battle was never won by her might, but by His Spirit.

“Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit.” — Zechariah 4:6

Session 4Provision

Generating Your Own Pace

The dry season — out of ideas, tempted to copy the crowd. But you are not limited to reacting to what is out there. You call, and God shows you great and unsearchable things you did not know.

“Call to me and I will…show you great and unsearchable things.” — Jeremiah 33:3

Session 5Direction

Placement Over Power

The hardest-hit ball hit anywhere still loses. Effort without His aim burns you out. Not “work smarter” — submit where He says to cast, and the net breaks with fish.

“In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.” — Proverbs 3:6

Session 6Warfare

The Real Opponent

You never lose to the opponent. You lose to your reaction to the opponent. The real battle is not flesh and blood — and its weapons are not carnal.

“We wrestle not against flesh and blood…” — Ephesians 6:12

Session 7Initiative

The Serve

The one shot nobody can rush — fully yours. But it is a gift already in you, gone cold from neglect. Not new courage to summon. An old fire to fan back to flame.

“Stir up the gift of God which is in you.” — 2 Timothy 1:6

Session 8Endurance

The Long Match

Human determination empties — that is the third-set collapse. You do not finish on your own grit. You finish on strength renewed from outside you, and you reap in due season.

“Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength.” — Isaiah 40:31

New session every Sunday. Miss one? The whole series stays in the group to watch any time.

What's coming

The seasons ahead

Each series stands on its own, and together they map a year of building — from courage, to belonging, to real enterprise, to depth.

Series Two

Lessons from Enlarging

The courage to reach past the self you were told to stay inside — to build wider, braver, and for more than yourself. Making room for everything God placed in you.

Series Three

Lessons from the Kitchen

Building something nourishing. Patience, the long simmer, and why the instinct to feed everyone else first has to be re-examined.

Series Four

Lessons from the Marketplace

The Proverbs 31 woman as a trader, not a housewife. Margins, showing up daily, and the dignity of profit.

Series Five

Lessons from the Garden

Seasons, pruning, waiting, harvest. The slowest and most reflective series — a place to sit still and go deep.

It is free. The seat is yours.
